(People Excelling Amongst Society) Scholarship*

P.E.A.S Scholarship Fund:

Pi Epsilon Alpha Sigma PEAS Social Organization Foundation Incorporated believes that our youth deserves every opportunity to pursue a post-secondary education. To help alleviate the pressures that many low-income families face in the decision to send their child(ren) to college, we are establishing a People Excelling Amongst Society Scholarship. This scholarship will focus on helping high school seniors who need monetary help to cover remaining tuition balances.

The transition into the collegiate world is difficult enough without dealing with the financial burdens that come with tuition costs. This scholarship will help to alleviate those financial pressures for students who excel but may not have the funding to match their potential.

Application Requirements & Deadlines

High School Senior/Incoming Freshman Students

How to Apply

Select the method that works best for you: Online Application, Common Application or Printed Application.

  • All incoming freshman applications are free to submit!
  • There is no additional application for scholarships. Consideration is automatic with your completed admission application. Competitive scholarship review begins December 1.

  • Application Materials

  • Transcript: Transcripts with at least six semesters of high school grades are required for admission review. If you are homeschooled, have a GED, or are graduating high school in less than four years, reach out to the Office of Admission to learn about what academic documents will be required.
  • For students entering in the Fall semester, PEAS Inc. will accept unofficial transcripts for admission consideration.
  • ACT or SAT score: We ask all students to submit a standardized test score — either the ACT or SAT, we don’t have a preference. Scores sent directly from the testing agency, or the high school are considered official and can be used for admission review.
  • Essay: The admission essay (1 to 3 pages) lets you personalize your application. All students are strongly encouraged to submit an essay for competitive scholarship review. The Essay will be titled “What People Excelling Amongst Society means to me.” Essays can be uploaded within the application, emailed after submission, or mailed to the Office of Admission.
  • Activities List: An activities list, or resume, is strongly encouraged for competitive scholarship review. Activities lists can be uploaded within the application, emailed after submission, or mailed to the Office of Admission.
